These resorts collectively contribute $2.14 billion to the Victorian economy, attracting 1.4 million visitors and sustaining over 12,000 jobs.
The General Manager, Falls Creek will lead a team to ensure the successful operation across a range of diverse services all year round to both visitors and locals.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will play an essential role in driving the thriving operations across the key areas of customer service, environmental services, assets, ski patrol and childcare, marketing and events.
The General Manager will oversee a broad asset base and operations to ensure the highest quality of services are delivered.
Having strong leadership skills combined with exceptional interpersonal skills, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through exceptional engagement, while fostering a collaborative and positive culture for a diverse, seasonal workforce.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be a proven successful leader with a depth of experience working at an executive level in a complex environment.
You will apply your strategic horsepower to develop tourism and investment initiatives that have the capacity to generate visitation and yield amongst current and emerging markets and position the resort for growth.
With strong stakeholder management and people skills, you will effectively develop and maintain key relationships and thrive in engaging with important stakeholders across the organisation.
Experience in the government or tourism sector is not essential but would be advantageous.
