With 7 centres across Queensland and telehealth services supporting rural, remote and regional communities, Hear and Say continues to innovate, expand and challenge the status quo striving to embrace new opportunities that improve the lives of clients across the state.
Recent changes to the organisation has resulted in the creation of this critically important new role of General Manager – Operations to lead multi-site operations functions across Queensland, ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services, drive innovation and deliver strategic growth.
This is a pivotal Executive role which will strengthen and shape the future of Hear and Say.
About the role: Reporting to the CEO, this role will manage all operational support functions, and support the delivery of high quality, people-centred services.
Success requires you to - Build and lead high-performing multi-disciplinary teams across health services, business development, quality, compliance, and administration; Oversee strategic planning, operational governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives; Modernise operational systems, processes, and ICT infrastructure, to allow for seamless service delivery; Drive organisational effectiveness, operational excellence, and promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation; Embody the organization's values, actively build external partnerships and support future growth opportunities.
About you: Tertiary qualifications in Health, Business, Management or related field (postgraduate preferred).
10+ years in senior operational or general management roles within health, disability, or community sectors.
Proven leadership in complex operations, quality and risk frameworks, and financial management.
Skilled at mentoring and developing teams, fostering high-performance culture, and driving change.
Strong stakeholder engagement, data-driven decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
