The successful candidate will be primarily working out of either Royal North Shore Hospital or John Hunter Hospital, however we offer flexible working arrangements which includes up to two days per week working from home. We operate more than 60 laboratories and around 200 collection centres across NSW and conduct over 60 million tests per annum.

Our network of pathologists are supported by scientists, technicians and support staff who quickly and accurately assess samples so clinical teams can make the best possible treatment decisions for patients.

Provide support the Managers responsible for undertaking Requisition Data Entry and Pre-Analytical processing to continue to maximise workflow efficiencies.

Management of record issues including but not limited to billing and patient encounters.

Apply now by addressing the following questions: Experience as a member of a pathology end-user department and/or a solid understanding of diagnostic laboratory processes and workflows in relation to Core build (user accounts, locations, wards), Pre-Analytical workflow, and Medicare and Non-Medicare billing.

Demonstrated ability to analyse, investigate and resolve issues in liaison with internal and external stakeholders and customers.

Well-developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated good oral and written communication skills including the ability to assist stakeholders in issue resolution over the phone, by email and by screensharing.

Demonstrated ability to analyse and present data for review and action using MS Excel.

Demonstrated ability to work both in a team and individually.

Efficient, effective planning and use of own time in the setting of priorities to achieve set objectives with the resources available and within set time frames, including experience in delivering to project milestones.

Demonstrated experience in balancing complex and multiple issues whilst maintaining quality around core work.
