Our client specialises in large commercial dispute resolution, class actions, insolvency litigation and regulatory investigations, particularly in the competition law space.
They are renowned for their direct approach to challenging and obscure legal problems on behalf of clients.
The litigation practice is high performing, team driven and collaborative.
To succeed in this team, you will be intellectually rigorous, down to earth, highly engaging and sensible.
You will be seeking to join a general commercial disputes practice and will enjoy the opportunity to develop your litigation expertise working on complex, high profile matters, in a collaborative team.
Role This rolesuits a smart, driven, sensible and down to earth commercial litigation lawyer who values both work quality and a collaborative team culture.
The firm has a broad commercial litigation practice.
Your career will benefit from exposure to class actions, insolvency litigation, and regulatory investigations.
You will be involved in aspects of competition and consumer law, including advisory matters, regulatory investigations and enforcement action, mergers, access regulation, product safety and franchising.
You will represent private clients in dealings with regulators such as the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), and the OAIC, and also act for regulators in significant enforcement proceedings.
