Business Unit Overview Our Operations unit is the engine room of Superloop - responsible for maintaining and supporting all of our products and internal technical infrastructure to ensure the best possible service to both our customers and our very own business.
Our Operations unit is responsible for ensuring that the business has the technical capability and capacity to deliver services to all Superloop customers ranging from Home Broadband to International Wholesale.
Role Purpose As part of the Operational Support Systems team, the Network Reliability Engineer is responsible for gaining insights into network behaviour and performance through operational support tools and systems.
You will work closely with other Network Engineers, developers and internal stakeholders to ensure network support systems and tools are available to meet business requirements and objectives.
Key Responsibilities Designand implement operational support solutions to collect, process, and analysenetwork data Build and maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures Research and evaluate new operational support system solutions, and make recommendations for their implementation Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor performance, detect faults, model costs, forecast capacity, and optimise network operations Produce network analytics data for input into product and automation development Manage technical relationships with vendors and collaborate across internal teams Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace health and safety standards Qualifications and Experience 5+ years in a network reliability or similar engineering role Experience working in a service provider environment Strong understanding of IPv4/IPv6, Ethernet switching, and IP routing Knowledge of network management systems and protocols (SNMP, SSH, Net Flow, Syslog, etc.) Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Go, etc.) Experience with cloud networking technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)Strong understanding of time-series data collection and visualisations technologies including Telegraf, Grafana and Influx DBDemonstrated experience applying Generative AI expertise to develop predictive maintenance models, anomaly detection systems, and autonomous troubleshooting solutions Strong documentation, communication, and project management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong customer service focus CCIE or equivalent experience will be highly regarded Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
