Landscape Gardner

We are looking for experienced gardeners who are reliable and enjoy providing high-quality garden maintenance services.
A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety, and the ability to ensure that all machinery and operations are conducted according to specific guidelines are essential.
Responsibilities include: Park and landscape maintenance Planning and maintenance of gardens Identification of plant disease and application of appropriate treatments Operation and maintenance of machinery Opportunities are available across various locations, involving the full scope of parkland landscape construction and maintenance.
Tasks may include garden beds, hedges, turfed areas, and the identification and treatment of diseased plants, pests, and pathogens.
Qualifications and experience required: Mandatory tickets / experience: MR / HR licence (or willingness to obtain)Cert III Horticulture or trade equivalent, or extensive industry experience Work Safely in the Construction Industry - White Card (must hold or obtain)Traffic Management Awareness (TMA) – must hold or obtain Additional highly regarded qualifications: ACDC Commercial Operators Licence (or willingness to obtain)Chainsaw ticket (or willingness to obtain)First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)Experience operating excavators TMI or TMA certifications (Working in Proximity to Roads)What you will receive: Brisbane City Council offers competitive rates of $42-43/hr, uniforms, tools, and daily travel allowances where applicable.
