The Opportunity Lead and develop a team of 15+ inspectors (Registered Builders)Conduct or support complex inspections as needed (fieldwork component)Apply your knowledge of engineering principles to real-world inspection scenarios Deliver internal training and onboarding programs for inspectors Own and improve QA systems, SOPs, and compliance documentation Provide internal guidance on technical queries, disputes, and high-stakes reports Collaborate with the leadership team on continuous improvement and service quality About You Degree-qualified Structural Engineer (CPEng)Working knowledge of the NCC, WA Guide to Standards & Tolerances, and AS 4349 Comfortable guiding others, reviewing reports, and making clear technical calls Skilled communicator with a pragmatic, problem-solving approach Confident navigating issues and standing behind your professional judgment What's on Offer$140,000-$170,000 salary package + Bonus (commensurate with experience)Hybrid rolecombining field inspections, technical mentoring, and strategic leadership Team-first, values-led culture Influence over systems, tools, standards, and the future direction of the inspection team Clear pathway to senior leadership for the right person This role represents a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading consultancy.
