Interior Designer

This mid-level role is ideal for an interior designer with around 3 years of experience, strong technical skills, and a flair for creating functional yet inspiring spaces.
You'll work closely with directors and senior designers, contributing to projects from concept through to completion using Revit, Auto CAD and Sketch Up.
Key Responsibilities Translate client briefs into clear and engaging layouts, mood boards, and 3 D visualisations Prepare detailed documentation in Revit, Auto CAD and Sketch Up for planning and construction stages Support the design team across all project phases, from early concepts through to approvals Research, specify, and coordinate finishes, fixtures, and materials Collaborate with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery Contribute to maintaining the studio's reputation for high-quality, bespoke design solutions Skills and Experience 3 years' experience in an interior design role, ideally with exposure to residential projects Proficiency in Revit or Auto CAD and Sketch Up is essential Strong eye for detail and a balance of creative flair with practical application Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence working directly with clients Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and adapt to a variety of project types A portfolio that demonstrates both design sensibility and technical competence Culture and Benefits Be part of a collaborative, down-to-earth team that values honesty, transparency, and creativity Exposure to a wide variety of projects, no two briefs are the same Opportunities to grow your skills in both interiors and broader architectural design Work in a supportive studio environment where your ideas and contributions are genuinely valued Join a practice with a strong reputation and award-winning portfolio across Melbourne's residential sector
