Accounting Financial Controller Melbourne Permanent / Full Time Flexible Hybrid Working Model Commercially focused role Apparel & Retail industry About the Organisatisation. Large, diversified Group with an ever expanding footprint around Australia & New Zealand. This organization is undergoing a rapid phase of investment, transformation and growth. About the Role.Due to growth, this newly created position will report directly to the divisional CFO, managing a medium sized team with a focus on daily Financial Control, commercial operations & strategic financial planning. The Financial Controller will play a significant role as 2 IC, driving the  implementation of new systems and processes as the business continues to rapidly grow via acquisition and strong organic growth. Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include, but not be limited to:  Annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management Financial Planning & Analysis Monthly and Annual Financial Reporting Driving internal and external audit activities with recommendations around robust Accounting frameworks and internal controls Business Partnering with key stakeholders including GM's, Commercial Managers, CFO and operations.  Oversight and management of the Financial Accounting team & day-to-day financial operations.
This is a role for a strong Financial Controller looking to consolidate their technical skills and commercial acumen to help shape and drive a fast growing, high volume product-based business. What you need to bring to the table.  You will have a demonstrated track record of being a Financial Controller in a medium to large, fast paced commercial environment  CA/CPA Qualified, you will have a background in Retail, Apparel or a fast moving high volume product-based environment.  Ideally, you will be have experience in ERP systems implementation and post merger  / acquisition related experience.  You will posses strong leadership with a demonstrated background in managing a medium to large sized team.  You will be an individual that thrives working in a fast paced environment with a strong process improvement mindset.
