Additionally, this position is eligible for a Multi-Disciplinary Allowance.*The Team: Peacock Centre opened in 2023, and focusses on providing warm, welcoming and trauma-informed care to people experiencing mental health relapse or distress.
The Integration Hub works closely with the peer lead services at Peacock Centre, including the Safe Haven and the Recovery College; the acute treatment unit of Peacock House, as well as other service providers in the south of Tasmania.
The Role: As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with Mental Health Services principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policies, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Allied Health Professional – Integration Hub will provide: Day to day oversight of the service, with a particular focus on optimising outcomes for attendees, their families, carers and friends.
Effective day to day supervision and support of the Peer Workers working within the Integration Hub.
Ongoing leadership, direction and change management to support overall service development and compliance with the endorsed Operational Service Model.
You will need to: Actively contribute to the culture, leadership and day to day management of the Integration Hub to ensure individuals attending the service are able to access the range of services they require to both deal with any immediate concerns and promote their ongoing independence and recovery and overall physical and mental health.
Provide ongoing support and education to Integration Hub Peer Workers as required including providing regular opportunities for debriefing.
Support consumers, and families/friends, as experts and leaders of their own care Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing 27th January 2026.*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:$123,717 to $134,336 per annum.
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022.
Salary Packaging: You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances: Please note that access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
