We are looking for a talented Engine Technician to join our team specializing in Engine Diagnostics and Repair at our Service Workshop in Tamworth, New South Wales.
Responsibilities include: Applying documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
Disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, and reassembling engines and engine components.
Performing preventative maintenance based on engine assessments.
Assisting experienced technicians with diagnostics and developing repair plans.
Completing documentation such as work reports, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Participating in training aligned with skill and business needs.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area and tools.
Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and reporting issues or incidents.
Qualifications and Skills: Effective communication skills tailored to different audiences.
