The Opportunity: As an Account Director at Orchard, your role will be to lead the day-to-day client relationship and ensure exceptional delivery across projects.
You'll work closely with a Group Business Director for high-level strategic input, but take ownership of the smooth, profitable, and innovative operation of your accounts.
Here's what you'll be doing Client Leadership & Relationship Building -Act as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating strong, respectful relationships built on trust and transparency.
Ensure clients feel prioritised and supported at every stage.
Strategic Advisory & Account Growth - Provide strategic counsel that aligns with client goals and business challenges.
Create account plans that drive value, promote organic growth, and are backed by data insights and innovative thinking.
Delivery & Project Oversight - Oversee day-to-day operations across your accounts, including technology retainers, data reporting, and quarterly reviews.
Partner with Project Managers to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and exceed expectations.
Solution-Oriented Collaboration - Champion a proactive, solutions mindset both internally and externally.
Navigate challenges calmly and constructively, bringing together the right stakeholders within Orchard and agency partners to deliver results.
Creative Excellence & Briefing - Write strategic, insight-driven briefs that inspire brilliant creative work.
Contribute to creative discussions and help shape the strategic and visual direction of key campaigns.
Financial Ownership - Own budgeting, forecasting and reporting for your accounts.
Deliver accurate Job Cost Reports (JCRs), manage scopes, and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
Client Advocacy & Cross-Agency Collaboration - Be a strong internal advocate for your clients.
Collaborate closely with UX, Experimentation, Tech and Data teams to ensure solutions are aligned and integrated across channels.
Agency Ambassadorship & Culture - Help raise Orchard's profile through the quality of your relationships, thinking, and work.
Champion our agency values and help foster a culture of creativity, curiosity, and care.
6+ years marketing and advertising experience Ideally, at least 2-3 years digital (marketing) experience A true passion for website and app development projects, data and experimentation A proven ability to develop sound marketing strategies Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills Exceptional organisational skills Strong financial management skills Unparalleled leadership and team-building skills Why Orchard?
