You'll work alongside an experienced finance leader who values results over hours and will give you the trust and space to do your best work.The RoleYou'll be the go-to for financial compliance and reporting across the business, while also supporting project teams with real-time financial insights.
It's a varied role with a blend of technical accounting, tax, treasury, and operational support.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare statutory financial statements and coordinate year-end audit processes Oversee month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Ensure compliance with AASB and IFRS accounting standards Manage BAS, PAYG, FBT, and income tax returns and related documentation Monitor and manage daily cash flow, including bank reconciliations Track compliance with debt covenants and funding obligations Oversee accounts payable and receivable reconciliations into the general ledger Manage credit application processes and subcontractor compliance (SOPA, insurance, retentions) Monitor debtor ageing and support collection processes Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Ensure integrity of the general ledger and oversee balance sheet reconciliations Provide financial insights and support to project teams across the business Conduct technical accounting research and ensure application of best practices Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function What You'll BringCA or CPA qualified (essential) Australian Citizenship is required due to security requirements 5+ years' experience in financial or management accounting Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards Experience in construction or project-based environments (preferred) Advanced Excel and strong system skills (Xero or similar) High attention to detail and confident working independently Why Apply1 day WFH available after onboarding Flexible start/finish to support work-life balance Clear expectations and autonomy under an approachable manager Exposure to technically challenging, high-profile projects Collaborative and stable team environment Ready to step into a senior finance role that offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to influence project outcomes?Apply now or get in touch for a confidential chat.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
