Job Description Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Oversee the creation and distribution of internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and clarity.
Manage media relations, including drafting press releases and coordinating responses to media inquiries.
Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives to build strong relationships and promote the organisation's objectives.
Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on communication matters.
Supervise a team of communication professionals, supporting their growth and performance.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts, reporting on outcomes and areas for improvement.
Ensure adherence to branding guidelines across all communication channels.
The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Communications Manager should have: A degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing communication strategies and campaigns.
Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
Familiarity with media relations and crisis communication techniques particularly within the government landscape.
Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms.
