They are looking to hire someone at the 4-6 PQE level, to be based in their Manly office.
We're seeking a proactive and motivated projects or energy lawyer to support a dynamic and growing legal team.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of transactional and regulated legal matters in a company that is assisting with the energy transition.

About the Role Lead and support the negotiation, drafting and review of a wide range of commercial contracts such as MOUs, NDAs, Exclusivity Agreements, PPAs, EPC and O&M agreements, procurement and connection agreements.
Provide legal advice across all stages of the project lifecycle including development, project finance, construction and operation & maintenance.
Support and manage engagement with external counsel.
Assist with compliance matters including SOCI and FIRB considerations.
Contribute to the development of neighbour agreements and community benefit sharing arrangements.
Assist in strategic business initiatives and collaboration with cross-functional internal teams.
Work closely with stakeholders involved in LTESAs, REZ projects, and planning and permitting processes.
What type of person will be successful? Admitted as a lawyer in Australia with full working rights.
Practising as a projects, construction, or energy lawyer for 4-6 years in private practice or in-house.
Strong experience across front-end legal work in infrastructure or major projects.
Knowledge or experience in project finance will be well regarded.
Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Thrives in dynamic and evolving environments.
