Good knowledge of the general insurance industry.
Strong understanding of the drivers of insurer financial performance including capital management.
Excellent analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyse data and synthesise and develop findings to support management decision making.
Strong commercial acumen.
Awareness of changing technology/customer/insurance trends.
Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
Well-developed report writing and communication skills.
Able to lead projects and manage complex stakeholder relations.
Able to learn new skills, adapt, and create value through experimentation.
Relevant Tertiary qualifications e.g.
Actuarial, Finance, Insurance.
Relevant industry qualifications e.g.: ANZIIF.
Collaborative, team player, able to work independently & towards team goals.
