Administration Officer Menindee Health Service

This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What You'll Be Doing Provide quality administration support to ensure the efficient running of the Health Service.

About The Menindee Health Service Menindee is beautiful little community on the banks of the Darling River and is surrounded by the spectacular Menindee Lakes.

The Menindee Health Service is a busy Primary Health Clinic with an Emergency Department as well.

We provide chronic disease, community and primary health care services to the community, as well as facilitating a range of visiting services.

Our clinic is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

After hours and on weekends an RN is on call for Ambulance and emergencies with a second Ambulance trained staff member.

Ambulance training will be provided.

How To Apply To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible: Certificate II in Business administration and/or experience providing administration support, preferably within a healthcare setting.

Demonstrated intermediate computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and data entry.

Experience with cash management, collection of fees and processing of accounts.

Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Understanding of cultural awareness issues and the need for cultural sensitivity.
