plus 12% Super plus allowances38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with a 9 day fortnight Based at the Bomaderry Works Depot Applications close Friday 28 August 2025About The RoleShoalhaven City Council is looking for a hands-on and experienced Ganger to lead small teams in maintaining and constructing a diverse range of essential public infrastructure across the Northern Maintenance area.
Responsibilities include:Supervise and direct site workers and contractors Read, interpret and implement plans Maintain and construct assets like roads, footpaths, drainage, parks, and flood mitigation structures Operate and maintain plant items and equipment including trucks, tractors and rollers Respond to emergencies across our community Ensure safety, quality and compliance across all tasksPlease refer to the Job Description under the Job Attachments for a comprehensive list of duties, responsibilities and skills required.About YouTo be successful in the position, you will have:School Certificate or equivalent Minimum of 2 years' experience in construction and or maintenance activities Class MR Driver's Licence Current NSW General Construction Induction Card (Whitecard) or acceptable interstate alternative.' Traffic Controller' and ' Implement Traffic Control Plans' or ability and willingness to obtain.
