Who are we looking for?We're seeking Expressions of Interest for Project Engineers to join our Delivery Phase Services (DPS) Region in Perth.
As we look to transition from traditional energy sources to adopt more renewable alternatives, our pipeline of work is anticipated to grow once new projects are awarded.
We are currently gathering interest from candidates who are keen to play a key role in enabling and accelerating this change.
We'll support you every step of the way as you join us in finding sustainable energy solutions to make a positive impact that will last for generations.
Reporting to the Project / Study Manager and interfacing with the broader Delivery Phase Services team, you will work with our clients on several key projects focused on Renewable Energy, Asset Transition, and Non-Process Infrastructure once these projects are awarded.
These are significant, multidisciplinary projects.
As a Project Engineer in the DPS team, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful tendering and delivery of engineering projects by providing technical oversight, managing project scope, cost, and schedule, and coordinating cross-functional teams once we secure these upcoming projects.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you: Provide comprehensive support to the Project/Study/Area Manager and Engineering Manager with project management functions across HSE, scope, cost, schedule and risk management Assist with the planning, preparation and coordination of proposal documentation and responses Assist with planning, preparation and coordination of project reports and deliverables Coordinate and compile technical reports to clients, following both client and GHD guidelines Contribute to the development of technical decisions and solutions by addressing technical queries and responding to requests for information Perform site inspections and prepare site surveillance reports, if required Oversee design, documentation and construction support activities across all phases of engineering projects Ability to assess project risks and understand associated contingencies Coordinate and facilitate communication between discipline engineers to ensure the completion of designs on time.
Be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and proactive management of project scope and resources What you will bring to the team: Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experience in a multidisciplinary project delivery environment3 to 20 years' relevant experience with knowledge in a project management or consulting environment Ideally with a mining, resources, and/or renewable background Well-developed communication skills - both verbal and written High attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills Embrace our shared commitment to safety in all aspects of our work This position is responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of technical and project management functions, facilitating collaboration between engineering disciplines, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs and industry standards Interested to be considered in our Expression of Interest?
