The Role Our Member Services Officers are the heart of our business, providing essential services such as sales, reception, and merchandising to members, casual visitors, and potential new members, following our established routines and procedures.
The role involves prospecting, touring, closing sales, and obtaining referrals for future sales.
Officers actively seek new business, representing the facility and Genesis positively and professionally.
The primary responsibility is to acquire new members and deliver first-class customer service aligned with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
They are expected to achieve individual and team goals set by the Assistant Club Manager and the Club Manager.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for health and fitness, and enjoy helping people achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities include: Have a passion for fitness Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone Apply sound cash handling principles and use Point of Sale (POS) systems Promote the centre's services and programs, and facilitate bookings and enrollments Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous Excellent communication skills Hold current First Aid & CPR Certification Possess a Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and a National Police Check Experience in fitness, sales, customer service, or retail is highly beneficial, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer-focused mindset are encouraged to applyIf you are passionate and see the tremendous opportunity this role offers, and want to leverage your skills in a health and fitness environment, we want to hear from youComplete the application process by clicking the Apply Now button, and we'll be in touch.
