Base pay range A$180,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from KW Partners Connecting leading organisations with the right people Head of Clinical Operations Location: Sydney | Hybrid Our client is a leading healthtech platform undergoing rapid expansion.
In full scale-up mode, they are redefining how Australians access and experience clinical care.
This newly created leadership role is pivotal in supporting the efficient, scalable delivery of their clinical services function.
Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer Purpose To provide strategic and operational oversight of clinical services and ensure safe, effective and efficient delivery across a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities Ensure all clinical enquiries and consultations are resolved within agreed SLAs Drive practitioner efficiency while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and safety Maintain a forward-looking practitioner roster to meet patient demand Oversee onboarding and training of new clinicians in a scalable manner Support and optimise engagement with a range of clinicians (doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists, exercise physiologists) Enhance clinical systems, processes, and operational workflows Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives across the clinical function Act as a medical SME for cross-functional projects and new initiatives Collaborate with pharmacy, supply chain, and customer service teams to optimise patient experience Prepare and analyse clinical services reports to track and deliver against KPIs Manage and mentor the clinical operations team, including training, support, and performance management Identify and implement improvements to team efficiency and effectiveness Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clinical partners Ensure all documentation and reporting aligns with internal protocols Qualifications & Experience 5+ years' experience in clinical or health operations roles, ideally within a fast-paced or scale-up environment Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams Full AHPRA registration in a relevant medical discipline (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication Highly organised with a systems-thinking mindset Confident driving process and operational improvement initiatives Demonstrated alignment with core values including innovation, empathy, and patient-first thinking Stakeholder Relationships Internal: Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Product, Engineering, Marketing External: Clinical workforce (GPs, NPs, Psychologists, EPs), Pharmacy partners, Consultants, Regulatory bodies Success Measures Delivery of clinical operations KPIs and contribution to broader company OKRs Effective scaling of clinical services aligned with demand and company growth Clinician satisfaction, engagement, and retention Interested in learning more?
