What's on offer? Exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer - Sunshine Coast.
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic Infrastructure Services team on the RAMC GEN3 project, based in Maroochydore, QLD.
This significant maintenance contract ensures a stable and rewarding work environment over an initial five year term, with potential for a three year extension.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will take on a leadership role, guiding a team of skilled engineers to deliver resurfacing and rehabilitation projects with our Programmed Maintenance Team.
Your contributions will directly enhance and maintain the road infrastructure that supports the growing Sunshine Coast region.
Key responsibilities include: Plan, direct, and coordinate major rehabilitation projects, ensuring they meet all operational, quality, and compliance benchmarks.
Develop detailed project plans to track progress and keep all stakeholders informed.
Work closely with technical teams to design solutions that extend the lifespan and functionality of existing road assets.
Manage project resources, schedules, and budgets to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
Evaluate project outcomes and integrate lessons learned into future project phases.
Ensure all activities comply with contract requirements, safety standards, and environmental policies.
We are seeking: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field, with a strong background in infrastructure projects.
Extensive experience as a Project Engineer, particularly in large-scale rehabilitation or construction projects.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Professional engineering certification (e.g., RPEQ or CPEng) is preferred, or willingness to obtain within 18 months.
