The Opportunity We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer – Water Pipelines to join our national water team, based in any Australian office.
You will bring experience in water and wastewater design, including conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and water facilities.
Building strong client relationships and understanding our clients' core business will enable you to provide effective solutions and services both on and off-site.
In a supportive, inclusive environment that values diversity and continuous improvement, you will have opportunities to mentor junior engineers and grow professionally.
About You You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, possessing a strong understanding of water/wastewater industry standards and best practices.
You should be highly organized with excellent technical and communication skills, capable of leading and mentoring teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
You will also have: Expertise in civil engineering aspects such as study involvement, budgeting, scheduling, scope development, detailed design, analysis, construction/commissioning support, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Experience in scoping and developing engineering work packages, including time estimates for deliverables.
An interest in strengthening existing client relationships and building new ones as a trusted technical advisor.
An ability to understand our clients' core business and ensure our services meet their expectations.
