The opportunity As our External Security Vetting Senior Analyst, you'll handle complex personal security clearance processes across various levels, such as Baseline, Negative Vetting Level 1, Negative Vetting Level 2, and Positive Vetting.

This role is based in Naarm – Melbourne / Boorloo – Perth / Canberra - Ngambri / Meanjin – Brisbane / Tarndanya / Warrang – Sydney.
Your key responsibilities In this critical role, you will assess clearance cases, leveraging your vetting experience with attention to detail and managing complex processes.
You will also ensure Quality Assurance, enforce strict quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs), and provide data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.
Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and EY best practices.
Use electronic case management systems for efficient processing.
Conduct interviews and gather information from clearance subjects.
Offer advice on clearance outcomes, handling complex vetting cases and sensitivities.
What we look for To be considered for this role, you must have: Attention to Detail: Scrutinize extensive data and identify potential security risks.
Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards in vetting processes and documentation, following the PSPF.
Time Management: Meet milestones and SLAs while managing competing demands.
Ideally, you'll also have the following skills and attributes, but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
We value your aptitude, attitude, and willingness to learn.
A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as needed.
Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
Extensive vetting experience (essential) in government or similar high-security environments.

Salary: Starting at $90,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
