About the role The Senior Release Manager is responsible for ensuring that new releases or versions of information systems and related IT infrastructure occur in a cost-effective, controlled, and coordinated manner with minimal disruption to business operations.
The position requires a commitment to service delivery and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include: Ensuring that release packages are tested independently according to the defined test plan prior to migration to the live environment, reducing the risk of incidents related to the release.
Managing releases of solution components following agreed procedures to minimise impact on the organisation.
Conducting post-implementation reviews to confirm outcomes, identify lessons learned, and develop action plans to ensure the release's effectiveness and that business objectives are met.
Reviewing and evaluating the performance and outcomes of new or modified systems to ensure objectives are achieved.

About you The ideal candidate will have: Extensive experience managing release cycles in accordance with the defined test plan.
Proven ability to implement and improve structured release processes in complex technical environments.
Strong communication skills, able to translate technical details for stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive, with a "can-do" attitude and experience delivering large, complex objectives in dynamic environments.
Resilience, excellent time management, and prioritisation skills.
