Senior Product Manager, Equities & Portfolio Value Management Comm Sec's purpose is to empower more Australians to grow their wealth, as Australia's leading online broker.
The Comm Sec Product & Investing Solutions (P&I) Crew's mission is to.
This includes oversight of the Comm Sec product portfolio (Equities, Margin Lending, Cash and Derivatives) and accountability for Product, Risk, Regulatory, Technology and P&L outcomes.
We manage, develop and implement product features, services and systems across the customer lifecycle to help deliver our purpose.
This role sits within the Equities & Portfolio Value Management squad, which is a multi-disciplinary squad within P&I that consists of product, analytics, risk, and technology professionals.
The squad is responsible for the flagship Comm Sec Share Trading product and developing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy and roadmap for Comm Sec's products in conjunction with the Crew Lead P&I, Crew Tech Lead P&I, and other Product Owners (PO).
As a Senior Product Manager, you will report into the Chapter Area Lead for Product and will support the Executive PO in forming the product strategy, roadmap and overall product management.
You will play a pivotal role in driving shareholder, customer, and risk outcomes.
You will have a range of responsibilities including pricing & portfolio optimisation, risk & controls, complaint management, issue and incident management and other day-to-day product management tasks.
Management of the end-to-end product value chain Monitoring of product P&L, product performance and competitor landscape Identification of growth opportunities and delivery of initiatives to continuously improve the product offering Identification of AI product opportunities, and support implementation of AI use cases Ensuring continued product compliance with regulatory obligations and relevant Group Policies and Standards Gaining insights into customer needs, and leading change to resolve customer pain points Proactive identification, mitigation, and management of product risks Acting as the Product SME on key initiatives Coaching of the Product Managers in the squad to drive consistent, high quality outcomes Building and fostering of strong relationships across the product value chain, to ensure efficient delivery of product roadmap and resolution of issues Domain knowledge in investing and stockbroking or financial services (highly desirable) Strong product management experience with demonstrated expertise in managing a product, P&L and driving product growth Demonstrated experience in strategic thinking and success in leading and executing on product strategy and initiatives Strong communication, influencing, stakeholder engagement and management capabilities Strong problem-solving capabilities, with experience navigating and resolving situations that may be complex or ambiguous A passion for innovation and customer centric product design Experience working in an agile environment and enjoy collaborating with others Risk Mindset –All Comm Bank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through to submit a valid application.
