As The Secretariat Officer, You WillProvide secretariat services for a number of ACCC Committees, including specific tasks such as coordinating and scheduling, finalising agendas, finalising minutes and monitoring and updating action item registers.
Compile papers for submission to ACCC Committees, including ensuring papers comply with the organisation's style guide, and timely distribution of submissions to committee members.
Support Commissioners and senior executives to ensure meetings are run effectively and that decisions are accurately recorded.
Assist team members within the Executive Office with other tasks required to support the branch and organisation.
About YouIn order to succeed in the role, you will have:Relevant work experience in a secretariat, governance or administration role.
A demonstrated ability to effectively: Plan, organise and prioritise competing work tasks in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
Show strong attention to detail.
Communicate simply, clearly and effectively in different mediums.
Engage and work collaboratively with other people.
Apply sound judgement, and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
Use a range of office technologies and computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as records management systems and databases.
