Your opportunity We are seeking a Trade Centre Manager for our Lincoln Sentry Trade Centre in Earlville, Cairns.
You will support the smooth and efficient operation of the centre through customer service, staff management, and sales responsibilities.
On a daily basis, you'll work with our passionate team on the shop floor, selling and promoting products to meet sales targets.
The role involves working 38 hours per week, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays finishing at 2 pm.
You will utilize your skills to ensure a seamless customer experience through activities such as: Responsibilities Leading a trade sales team with ongoing training and support Managing daily trade centre and warehousing operations Trade counter sales and service Inventory control, merchandising, marketing activities, and customer service improvements Participating in cycle counts and stock takes Adhering to safety and sustainability standards Managing the branch's finances, including full P&L responsibilities What you'll bring This busy role requires reliability, commitment, and attention to detail.
As a proactive team leader, you'll quickly adapt and maximize your team's potential.
Ability to work well within a team, focusing on existing business relationships Developing new business opportunities Strong customer service skills Warehousing experience is essential Good physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20 kg occasionally High numeracy skills and attention to detail Proficiency in computer skills; knowledge of SAP is advantageous Most importantly, you're committed to doing quality work and working collaboratively with trustworthy colleagues.
