Participate in research, quality improvement, and educational activities.
Support inpatient units with specialist input.
Supervise and teach RANZCOG trainees and junior doctors.
Be part of a 1:5 on-call roster.
About the Service1,000 births annually with support from a Level 4 maternity unit, Level 4 neonatal unit, and 8-bed ICU.
RANZCOG-accredited training site for core and advanced procedural trainees.
Well-supported by experienced midwives including MGP model of care.
Gynaecology services include colposcopy and laparoscopy.
The current senior staffing mix includes full time and part time Specialists; in addition, it is RANZCOG accredited for 2 FRANZCOG core trainees and Advanced Proceduralist trainees.
Excellent continuing education opportunities are led by training Registrars with support from the consultants.
