Join the Civmec Team The Civmec Balanced Machines Division has been awarded numerous machine projects.
These machines are designed, fabricated, assembled, and tested at our state-of-the-art Henderson facility.
There is a healthy pipeline of upcoming machine projects with Civmec involved.
We are seeking experienced Principal Mechanical Engineers to join our expanding team of professional Balanced Machines Engineers.
The successful applicant will be part of a busy multi-discipline design and delivery team working on exciting mining machine projects for our clients.
You will enjoy a full project scope, including design, execution, and final completion at our clients' sites throughout WA.
Perth-based with optional office location in CBD or Henderson.
Exciting projects Competitive salary package Investment in local growth Development opportunities Relocation support offered If you're ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a pioneering division, we'd love to hear from you The Role Review and interpret scope of works and technical specifications Act as a lead mechanical engineer or assist the lead mechanical engineer in project delivery and tenders Design, specify, and select components Complete 2 D and 3 D design work Participate in design and safety reviews Determine scope and design changes Prepare calculations, reports, datasheets, BOMs, scope of works, and methodologies for construction and commissioning Provide procurement and manufacturing support Assist with services and spares works and attend site as required Assist with machine commissioning Train and mentor junior personnel Drive QA/QC outcomes for the company and clients About You To be successful, you will possess: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Minimum of 7+ years experience in the mining industry Experience with balanced machines and materials handling Proficiency in relevant engineering tools, software, and CAD systems Experience liaising directly within multidisciplinary teams Civmec + You At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a 'Never Assume' culture, supported by our experienced management team.
