This role is ideal for a lawyer with 2+ years PQE who is passionate about advocating for injured clients and delivering strong results.
You'll manage a diverse caseload of statutory benefits, work injury damages, and motor accident claims, while working closely with an experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of workers compensation and motor vehicle accident (MVA) claims from start to finish
• Draft pleadings, statements, and legal documents with precision
• Conduct legal research and provide accurate, client-focused advice
• Represent clients at mediations, conciliations, and court hearings
• Negotiate settlements to achieve the best outcomes for clients
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of junior staff where appropriate What We're Looking For Experience:
• Minimum 2 years post-admission experience in workers compensation, motor vehicle accident (MVA), or broader personal injury law
• Experience managing files independently is highly desirable Skills:
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy abilities
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to build strong client relationships with professionalism and empathy Personal Qualities:
