As Lead Educator, you will:

Plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF and QKLG.
Build strong, positive and respectful relationships with children, families and the community.
Create inclusive, safe and engaging learning environments that foster belonging and development.
Guide, mentor and support educators to deliver best practice in early childhood education.

As 2 IC, you will:

Act as Responsible Person, ensuring compliance with the NQF, legislation and Uniting policies.
Support the Director in the daily operations of the service, stepping into the role when required.
Assist with mentoring and developing educators to achieve quality outcomes.
Support community engagement, partnerships, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote and embed child-safe practices, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.

Requirements

About You:

Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care
Completed the "Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk" CHCPRT025
Experience in a leadership role
Deep understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and National Regulations
Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
A passion for leading teams and supporting children to thrive
Solid communication and relationship-building skills with families, children, and team members
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
