Reporting to the Site Safety Advisor, you'll be embedded in safety initiatives at our 24/5, state-of-the-art Truganina Distribution Centre.
This is more than a compliance role – we want someone with warehouse experience, strong risk assessment capability, and a drive for practical, outcomes-focused solutions.
What you'll be doing: Lead and deliver targeted risk assessments across high-risk warehouse operations Partner with the Safety Advisor, Engineers, HSRs, and operators to implement practical controls Analyse incident data and site risk profiles to identify and prioritise safety improvements Apply manual handling and ergonomic expertise to reduce injury risks Support wider safety initiatives, including leadership programs and manual task redesign Influence change and promote a proactive safety culture using your subject matter expertise What we're looking for: Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHS role, ideally in warehousing or logistics Qualifications in WHS or an allied health-related field Sound knowledge of Victorian WHS legislation and relevant Codes of Practice Understanding of hazardous manual handling principles Strong reporting and documentation skills, with attention to detail Ability to think strategically and bring new ideas to the table What's in it for you?Generous staff discounts across all Hanes brands – Bonds, Sheridan, Berlei, Bras N Things, and more Access to sample sales and extended discounts for family and friends Wellness programs including flu shots, skin checks, remedial massage, EAP, and fresh fruit delivered onsite Be part of a business committed to sustainability and continuous improvement Company-wide recognition through our "Golden Yarn" Reward & Recognition Program Monthly updates from our CEO and leadership team, plus guest presentations from our community partners About Hanes Brands Australasia We're the home of Australia's most iconic lifestyle brands, including Bonds, Sheridan, Bras N Things, and more.
