The DDG Engineering Branch is responsible for providing and applying technological principles to create, manage, and maintain digital systems and infrastructure within a scaled agile framework (SAFe).
Our aim is to reduce system complexity, eliminate legacy systems, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance agility.
DDG is seeking experienced APS 6 ICT Engineers to analyze complex ICT engineering issues, applying expertise to identify and implement solutions within an agile methodology.
You will collaborate with project managers, senior team members, and SMEs to: Deliver high-level and detailed Systems Engineering Designs.
Research, present, and participate in solution development activities.
Apply Defence ICT standards and architecture roadmaps for application design, integration, platforms, and Cyber principles to support consistent enterprise ICT solutions delivery.
Write technical briefs, design decisions, System Engineering documents, presentations, and reports per Defence standards.
Learn from senior Engineers to develop your APS IT career.
The Department will be creating merit pools to fill vacancies over the next 18 months.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP), which provides a premium in addition to the base salary for positions critical to Defence capability.
