NATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER - DISTRIBUTORS | FOODSERVICE ROLE & BUSINESS: A business-critical National Distributor Management role with a major player in the Foodservice industry.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the National Business Manager – Distributors will assume full channel leadership and national customer management for the Foodservice Distributor channel, owning national relationships and trading arrangements with PFD, Bidfood, NAFDA, Superior and Countrywide.
IDEAL CANDIDATE: The NBM – Distributors will be a trusted and effective business partner to the Sales team and broader business.
The ideal candidate will be a high energy, team-oriented person with a flair for negotiating and sound business acumen.
The ability to develop trusting and lasting relationships and engender a unified 'one Sales team' ethos will define success in the role along with excellent communication skills and a constructive temperament and leadership style.
The NBM – Distributors will have a foundation in FMCG wholesale account/business management and relevant experience in either Foodservice, QSR, Coffee, Independent Retail or Drinks (on premise or retail).
Tertiary qualifications in business will be highly regarded.
Culturally, you'll relish agility, accountability and entrepreneurship.
Critical to success: Deep understanding of the Foodservice & FMCG sector.
Experience in commoditised categories (preferable).
Experienced in distributor supply chains and wholesale account management.
Meaningful relationships with trade.
Exemplary stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
High proficiency against obvious role hygiene factors: administration, demand planning, sales and commercial analysis, constructive leadership style, computer literacy (MS Office, Net Suite etc.) WHAT's NEXT?
