In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2 D) Alliance.
The Torrens to Darlington (T2 D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The T2 D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels.
The tunnels will be connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km.
The T2 D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
The T2 D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.
As the T2 D Social Procurement Manager your role will be to support Aboriginal businesses, Social Enterprises, Australian Disability Enterprises, and local businesses to maximise the T2 D social procurement strategy.
Your role will see you work closely with the Commercial, People and Construction teams to drive strategy and industry capability development activities to ensure sustainable business growth whilst maintaining best-for-project outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting the procurement team with tenders and onboarding in relation to the social inclusion and procurement KPI's and TIPP requirements.
Provide expertise on the South Australian Industry Participation Policy and Social Procurement Strategy Establish, develop and maintain beneficial and strategic relationships with relevant external industry stakeholders including Social Enterprises, Aboriginal Business and subcontractors.
Manage regular meetings with internal stakeholders including Commercial, Construction and People to ensure all targets are met and opportunities and outcomes are adequately leveraged.
Understand project needs regarding diversity and social inclusion and be able to identify how to address these as required Provide advice and guidance to key Program, Project, Commercial and Procurement resources of commercial risks arising out of procurement processes, proactively recommend practical and sound solutions and participate in the implementation of these solutions.
About you: With a strong background in social inclusion and procurement you will be passionate about driving social inclusion initiatives and driving positive change.
Additionally, you will possess: Demonstrated experience within a similar role, specifically within Industry Capability Development, Social Engagement, Workforce Development or Procurement.
Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, business, engineering or similar (preferred)Highly developed communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders Experience in leading and supporting organisational change and strategic initiatives to drive social procurement.
