Transport Allocator

This hands-on role involves close collaboration with Delivery Professionals, as well as cross-functional teams, to create efficient and safe delivery experiences.
This is primarily a weekend role with required availability from 3 PM to 11 PM.
Additionally, occasional weekday shifts may be required to cover for team members on leave.
What you'll be doing Allocation & Scheduling Freight & Inventory Management Problem-Solving Customer Support Compliance & Safety Documentation & Reporting What are we looking for Relevant industry experience in transport or logistics, with strong familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) (Preferred but not essential).
Willingness to work flexibly – Weekend availability (3 PM – 11 PM AEST) and weekdays when required Familiarity with QLD state-specific suburbs and logistics operations, with an understanding of local and interstate transport networks is an advantage Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to build positive, professional relationships with Delivery Professionals, internal teams, clients, and 3 PL providers Ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities, and meet deadlines efficiently A proactive 'can-do' mindset with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service Ability to resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and customer satisfaction.
