A busy Tier 2 builder with a strong reputation in the industry is seeking a Site Supervisor / Foreman to join their team.
The company specializes in projects up to $200 million across sectors including education, government, residential, health, and industrial.
Due to ongoing project wins and internal growth, they are looking to add a Finishes Foreman to their team.
The initial assignment involves working on a project in Tamworth for 6 months, after which the candidate will return to the Newcastle office to help deliver a new project.
About the Role Reporting to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include: Assisting the Site Manager in coordinating and supervising all construction activities Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies Overseeing the excavation, structure, and finishes phases of the project Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project objectives Providing leadership and guidance to site staff, fostering a positive work environment Monitoring project progress and reporting regularly to the Site Manager Mentoring junior staff to prepare them for future leadership roles About You You should have experience working on commercial projects as a Site Manager or Supervisor/Foreman.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders are essential.
Proven experience as a Supervisor/Foreman delivering projects over $30 million Previous experience with Tier 1, Tier 2, or well-known T3 construction companies Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills Proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction projects Ability to lead a team effectively and solve problems under pressure A desire to progress into a Site Manager role in the future Experience in completing projects from start to finish Longevity at previous employers A positive attitude and proactive approach If you believe this role is suitable for you, please contact Gaby Sco at 0466901687 or #J-18808-Ljbffr
