This is a one-of-a-kind team paving the way for a new structure in LEAP which focuses on tailored products for specific areas of law.
This team includes experienced legal professionals, developers, designers, and client-focused operational experts.
We have in-house Australian Personal Injury Lawyers who are the experts in guiding the direction that our products take, along with a mature client feedback function.What you'll doTo build the most exceptional and tailored experience for Personal Injury Lawyers, this team need to know every aspect of this area of law in every state.

You'll bring your legal experience including your passion for research and the theoretical side of law to help change the way Personal Injury lawyers practice.
You'll consult with our legal experts to help make decisions that contribute to our product roadmap, content plan and database design.To make this happen, you willConduct comprehensive legal research into legislation, case law, and procedural rules relevant to personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, public liability, and workers' compensation.Prepare detailed research memoranda, case summaries, and mock quantum assessments to inform how liability and quantum are assessed in different jurisdictions.Analyse complex medical records, expert reports and financial documents to provide an accurate understanding of how liability and quantum are assessed in different states and territoriesMonitor, interpret, and report on legislative changes and judicial trends impacting personal injury law in Australia.Assist in developing and maintaining our internal knowledge base, precedents and research resources to enhance efficiency and expertise of the entire practice groupWhat you'll bringYou'll have a strong foundation in legal research methodologies and a keen analytical mind, capable of transforming complex information into actionable legal intelligence.
Your technical skillset will include:A degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related discipline.Proven experience in a legal research capacity, ideally within a personal injury, insurance, or litigation practice area.High proficiency in using legal research databases such as Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, and Aust LII.Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to synthesise intricate legal and medical information into clear, concise, and persuasive written advice.A strong understanding of the legal principles and legislative frameworks governing personal injury claims in Australia.You are the type of person whoPossesses an innate curiosity and a genuine passion for investigative work and problem-solving.Is meticulously detail-oriented, understanding that accuracy is paramount in legal analysis.Thrives in an autonomous role, demonstrating resourcefulness and initiative to manage competing priorities effectively.Is a clear and collaborative communicator, capable of conveying complex findings to legal professionals with confidence and clarityLEAP is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential.
