What's on offer? We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced General Manager - Power within our Fulton Hogan Utilities (FHU) business with flexibility to be based in SA, VIC, NSW or QLD.

Reporting directly to the FHU CEO, you will provide leadership, direct and manage the Power business and support teams in order to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
In this role you'll be responsible for: Leading the development and implementation of the market entry and longer-term strategic direction of the Power business in partnership with the FHU Senior Leadership Team Grow, manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture Develop and implement the Power Client Relationship Management Plan Prepare, manage and deliver upon agreed annual budgets Oversee the internal approval process, preparation and submission of tenders Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, profitability and schedule requirements Maintaining and fostering effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
How you'll connect to the role: Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in engineering, business or management discipline Extensive experience in a General Manager/ Senior Leadership role, within the Power & Energy sector with a deep understanding of the industry, clients and network of contacts Demonstrated effective leadership skills and the ability to grow, build and motivate a high-performing team with a proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation Exceptional commercial acumen, including experience in budget management, financial forecasting and P&L oversight Skilled in developing and executing start-up, short- and longer-term strategies Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture.
