We are seeking Clinical Fellows to assist us in delivering this vision as part of our team focused on Parkinson's Disease and related conditions.
The Clinical Fellow will work closely with Prof.
Simon Lewis and will have the opportunity to develop both clinical and research expertise, primarily in Parkinson's Disease and related conditions.
The role involves working across multiple clinical trials targeting disease modification and symptomatic relief, as well as gaining exposure to research platforms including neuroimaging, neurophysiology, polysomnography, and other biomarkers.
The position may also be accredited as an elective year for a Neurology or Geriatrics Advanced Training program with prior approval from the relevant Specialist Training Committee.
The successful candidate will contribute actively to the research program and aim for first-author publications.
A key focus of the fellowship is to build and develop the candidate's research experience, clinical knowledge, and professional growth.

About You You will be a Medical Practitioner with a keen interest in Neurology or Geriatrics, holding a medical degree and registered with AHPRA at the level of Medical Officer or above.
You should have experience or an interest in neurodegenerative diseases and experience working with patients with cognitive impairment.
A professional and collaborative approach to research, liaising with research nurses, allied health professionals, and the broader care team, is essential.
