Higgins Coatings are a proud family-owned business, with a national presence, operating for 75 years' leading the commercial painting industry.
We are looking for a trade qualified painter who is used to running several commercial projects, concurrently across the region.
Reporting to our Shepparton Branch Manager, you are 'off the tools', with 80% of your time is spent travelling to various sites and 20% in the office.
Key responsibilities include: Lead the completion of works for multiple, concurrent projects safely, on time, to contract specification, and to budget.
Day to day planning of resources and labour - both employees and sub contractors Job monitoring and cost control Assess job costings and methodology before submission of quotes/tenders Ensure conformity to our WHS standards and systems We offer above industry salary package and perks: Competitive salary package, including a bonus scheme and fully maintained company vehicle Opportunities for professional growth and development working for a national company, including ongoing training and support Access to a leading rewards and benefits platform· What are we looking for from you?· Trade qualified painter with commercial experience· Experience managing small teams of wages staff and sub contractors on concurrent projects· Know how to assess budgeted hours and costs of projects Ability to complete documentation electronically Supervising safety compliance Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers and monitoring on site performance Ensuring client satisfaction through high levels of written and verbal communication Coaching/training painters Come and join the winning team at Higgins.
