Job Description Paramount, a global media and entertainment organization, is offering an incredible 12-month contract opportunity for a talented AI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sydney.
This role offers flexible hybrid/remote arrangements and is pivotal in transforming how we create, distribute, and monetize content across our broadcast and streaming platforms.
As an AI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of media transformation, establishing our AI capabilities from the ground up.
Your focus will be on building AI solutions that automatically transform single pieces of content into multiple platform-optimized formats for TV, streaming, and social media.
This role directly impacts revenue and operational efficiency across our content ecosystem.
Responsibilities: Build automated video/audio processing solutions to transform content production workflows.
Develop "create once, distribute everywhere" capabilities for content adaptation.
Create AI systems for content performance prediction and audience engagement optimization.
Establish production-ready AI infrastructure and data pipelines from prototype to live systems.
Partner across business units to identify and solve operational challenges with AI.
Drive monetization through intelligent advertising optimization and audience insights.
Requirements: Essential experience: 2-3+ years of hands-on machine learning and AI implementation.
Experience with video/audio processing and media technologies.
Strong Python skills and experience with cloud platforms.
Knowledge of AI workflow orchestration and software engineering best practices.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
Highly valued: Background in content recommendation systems, computer vision, or NLP.
Experience with real-time content adaptation and multi-platform optimization.
Media or entertainment industry experience.
