Are you a talented Business Analyst with a passion for translating business needs into innovative technical solutions? Rentokil Initial (RI) is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Lidcombe, Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of RI's technical evolutionWhat You'll Be Doing As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping RI's technical landscape.
Your responsibilities will include: Directly involved in scoping, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional design.
Collaborating with project teams, business managers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to uncover functional and non-functional requirements.
Working closely with engineering squads, architects, SMEs, UX designers, and other key stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose solutions.
Adopting a collaborative and consultative approach to ensure stakeholder buy-in at all levels across the business.
What We're Looking For Proficiency in effectively and concisely communicating requirements to developers and testers.
Proven ability to analyze business functions and existing software, draft functional requirements, design specifications, or user stories.
Demonstrated creative thinking and a willingness to support new or improved approaches to solving business problems.
Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving/analytical skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in visual storytelling, planning, and running workshops.
Ability to be the voice and champion for user needs while balancing recommendations with business needs.
Strong collaboration skills alongside effective, engaging, and influencing communication skills.
Ability to develop and maintain good professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven, relevant experience in the software industry.
An understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
Experience managing and leading requirements gathering workshops.
Sound knowledge of key business processes and operational procedures.
Ability to effectively manage and influence stakeholders.
A genuine passion for the customer and an ability to transform concepts and issues into effective delivery.
Ability to think strategically, leveraging insight to inform change.
Beneficial (but Not Required)Understanding of Agile values and principles and experience working within Agile development teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to articulate key messages to different audiences.
Sound knowledge of business process workflows and product requirements breakdown.
