Certified Great Place to Work – 2025/2026 in both Australia and New Zealand The Role To help in our mission to continue being the best in what we do, Storage King is currently seeking a Relief Store Manager in a full-time role to join our business in Melbourne.
Relief Store managers are key in the day-to-day management of the operation, including overall responsibility for customer service, end-to-end store management, including overall facilities management.
No two days are the same in this role.
Being a Relief Store Manager at Storage King is as exciting as it is rewarding.
This role will involve a roster across a variety of locations in a given region to assist the Store Management team in covering gaps in rosters.
This role requires a very adaptable person who enjoys a changing environment and is happy to travel.
Working Hours Full time - 38 hours per week across 5 days.
Flexibility is required, as shifts may be scheduled on any day between Monday and Saturday.
No late nights or public holiday work is required.
Primary locations are: Carrum Downs Dromana Pakenham Oakleigh Narre Warren Clyde North What you will need: Ideal if you have a retail, sales or hospitality background A passion for delivering customer service excellence, with an above and beyond attitude and work ethic An enthusiastic team player, always wanting to exceed expectations Be goal orientated and results-driven Be computer literate, with good email and have confident telephone communication skills High level of attention to detail across all tasks Enjoy problem-solving and taking ownership of tasks Current full driver's license and access to vehicle Forklift license desirable but not essential Ability to work on Saturdays when required In return we offer: Competitive hourly rate + monthly and quarterly performance bonuses Full training and career progression opportunities A flexible working environment and strong team culture No late nights or public holidays Uniform and laundry allowance On-site parking provided Discounted health insurance through Medibank Assure Wellbeing Program – access to a wide range of free, confidential support services for you and your immediate family.
