We're looking for a sharp, strategic, and culturally switched on Associate Director, Social & Content with a strong focus on delivering best in class work across social, content and influence initiatives.
You'll bring a deep understanding of how platforms, culture and communities intersect – and how to turn that into creative, effective work for clients.
The role sits within our Integrated Marketing team who design connected communications that move at the speed of culture, communities, and commerce.
You'll play a critical role in shaping our social and content thinking across the agency, mentoring a high-performing team of creators and platform experts, pushing the boundaries on what integrated storytelling can look like, and working with our Client Services leads to embed it into delivery.

Our Australian team is a powerhouse of talent, and we've got some impressive silverware too: 'Best Agency in Asia Pacific' - PRWeek Global Awards - 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023 'Midsize Consultancy of the Year' – Provoke Awards, 2021; Finalist 2023 & 2024 'Large Agency of Year' – Mumbrella Comms Con – Finalist 2024 'PR Consultancy of the Year' – ANZ PRWeek/Campaign Asia Awards - 2022 'Global Technology Agency of the Year' – PRovoke Awards, 2022 What You'll Do : Lead the end-to-end development of social and content strategies across brand, campaign, and always-on programs that align with business objectives Oversee the content development process from strategy, briefing, content production (internal and external), community management Delivery of performance insights, social listening and reporting that translate into real recommendations and ladders back to comms and business goals Turn insights, audience behaviours, and cultural trends into compelling content opportunities for clients with the ability to influence stakeholders Team Leadership & Operations Mentor digital experts to ensure our work is bold, effective, and deeply connected to culture Partner with the Director of Client Services and Head of Strategy to ensure work delivered is considered and consistent Ensure quality control, resource planning, and process improvement across projects Build a culture of social-first thinking across the agency, becoming the go-to technical expert for platform innovation, best practice, and creative opportunity Act as senior counsel to clients across sectors (B2 C and B2 B), providing expert POVs on the evolving social and digital landscape Work with client leads to anticipate client needs, challenge thinking constructively, and deliver proactive, solutions-oriented support Partner across the agency to support / lead day-to-day client relationships that builds trust and long term partnership across our Health, Consumer, Tech, and Corporate clients Play a key role in driving new business – contributing to pitches, identifying growth opportunities, and showcasing the value of social and content thinking in an integrated offering Stay across the ever-changing nature of platforms, tools, and creator ecosystems Drive partnerships with creators, influencers, and media platforms to deliver standout executions Act as senior counsel across sectors, providing expert POVs on the evolving social and digital landscape You'll need to have: Has 6-8 years of experience in social and content, ideally in an agency environment Is passionate about culture, content, and the way brands show up to integrate across the full digital and communications ecosystem Is an expert in platform trends and capabilities (Meta, Tik Tok, You Tube, Linked In) and has strong creative instincts to tailor content accordingly Has deep working knowledge of digital platforms – Meta Ads Manager, Tik Tok for Business, Linked In Campaign Manager, GA4, Hub Spot, Talkwalker or equivalent Is comfortable moving between high-level strategic conversations and executional problem solving Has experience across earned, owned, and paid social, influencer, and content campaigns Is a confident presenter, strong storyteller, and collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional teams Success looks like: Strategic excellence: Social and content strategies are insight driven, platform smart, and deliver measurable impact for clients Client confidence: Strong, respected relationships with clients who see you as a creative digital content lead Creative impact: Work developed under your leadership is bold, earned-first, and culturally relevant.
