About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Mental Health Clinical Program.
In this senior clinical role, you will provide expert social work services and consultancy within a multidisciplinary team that supports recovery-focused care across inpatient, community, and rehabilitation settings.
You will lead and supervise designated staff and students, contributing to clinical leadership and the continuous improvement of high-quality mental health services.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will conduct complex assessments, develop and implement targeted interventions, and collaborate closely with consumers, their families, carers, and community organisations to optimise clinical outcomes.
You will also play a key role in service planning, policy development, and professional staff management, including rostering and recruitment.
This is a rewarding opportunity to influence mental health care delivery while providing specialised support to vulnerable populations across CALHN.

You are an experienced and compassionate social worker with advanced clinical skills and a strong commitment to supporting people with complex mental health needs.
You bring professional independence, leadership, and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care, aiming to improve outcomes through evidence-based practice.
Qualified for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Skilled in comprehensive assessments, recovery-focused care, and therapeutic interventions
Experienced in clinical leadership, supervision, and multidisciplinary teamwork
Knowledgeable in mental health legislation, ethical standards, and quality improvement initiatives
