XJob Purpose Provides solutions to Komatsu Customers via successful implementation of technology products and paid services through effective opportunity development, project management, change management and specialised training for customer operations.
Provides input on improving mining solutions based on business needs with a holistic approach formed through a deep understanding of mine processes and KMTS technology, products and services.
Manages the implementation and deployment of professional services with a consultancy view and builds a pipeline of opportunities for paid services.
Represent or replace duties of supervisor during vacation, travel or as required.
Travel Requirements Up to 25%Job Duties And Responsibilities Professional Services Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets and expand Komatsu MTS Technologies market share.
Proactively identify and develop opportunities based on value in use assessments via strong collaboration with Sales, Training and Performance Assurance teams Deliver professional services and digital solutions related to the Komatsu MTS product suite.
Provides system assessment, engineering analysis, performance analysis, and benchmarking services.
Provide change management services for projects and deployments.
Provide targeted product training to customers.
Studies and applies "Lean" and Continuous Improvement concepts to customer operations.
Utilizes other corporate Customer Success resources, when necessary, to meet client requirements.
Develops and implements measures improve mine operational efficency.
Write and deliver professional project documentation including proposals, scope of work and reports Analytics Gather and analyses information skilfully.
Develop alternative solutions.
Perform analysis to develop pragmatic/practical solutions that address clients' business needs.
Develop partnerships with clients to solve problems.
Required Skills Degree in Engineering with Mining, Civil, Geological, or Industrial specialization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong knowledge of production related mining operations and of Modular technology solutions.
Mining industry or consultancy work experience in middle management positions pertaining to mine planning, mine operations or mine technology, or in a Komatsu role of Consulting, Customer Improvement or Performance Assurance Technology Development, Deployment and Services experience Ability to identify key stakeholders & form strong relationships Ability to work with little or no supervision Customer focus, commitment to excellence Results driven with an ability to influence others when required.
