In this HSE Systems Training Specialist role, you'll join a friendly, supportive safety operations team who look out for one another.
From the start, you'll be surrounded by a group of HSE experts who'll share their knowledge, and genuinely help you succeed.
You'll train over 1,000 employees across our Australian mines and offices, so you'll be building a solid set of skills and experiences that will prepare you for future opportunities.
Plus, you'll have the full backing and support from your manager, so you'll be trusted to know what's best, giving you the room to implement your ideas.
You'll be based at Sunrise Dam Gold Mine reporting to the Training Superintendent.
This position is a 12m fixed term opportunity on a 4/3 FIFO roster with flights from either Perth or Kalgoorlie.
There may be occasional work in the Perth Office.
Accountabilities: Support and implement a roll out schedule for site operational users Create implementation schedules Co-ordination of training session schedules with site operations teams Provide HSE Site Operation Management with ongoing attendance KPIs on a weekly basis Ongoing review and maintenance of implementation schedule and progress reporting Deliver training that supports the operations to implement and harness the ISMS modules (Incident Management, Inspections, Interactions and Interventions, Meeting Management, Emergency Preparedness, Management of Change, Actions, Findings, Reporting)Delivery of Hazard and Risk Management Training, JHA training and Chem Alert.
Formulate Quick Reference Guides for end users and other training support material.
Data entry of attendees in relevant database Ensure that the awareness packages and other associated training content is updated in line with group changes Develop and maintain consultative relationships with key internal stakeholders to proactively identify and address training needs, ensuring that programmes are effectively and efficiently delivery within agreed timelines.

To be considered, we would like to see you have: Strong knowledge of safety systems (Isims, risk management systems, for example)Confident delivering group and face-to-face training Experience training and troubleshooting across various safety systems Experience managing schedules Prior experience working within the resources sector preferred.
