Overview Senior Dev Ops Lead role at Suncorp Group.
You will shape and advance Dev Ops capabilities across Suncorp, driving automation, operational excellence, and platform efficiency.
You'll lead and mentor a team to design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with Agile teams to embed best practices, and ensure scalable, secure infrastructure.
This role champions continuous improvement, streamlines workflows, and delivers high-quality, compliant solutions that accelerate business agility.
What You'll Do Lead and prioritise delivery pipelines aligned with strategic goals, ensuring resource efficiency and execution excellence Champion Agile and Dev Ops practices, fostering a culture of accountability, automation, and continuous improvement Drive automation-first principles and standardisation to streamline processes, improve quality, and reduce manual effort Mentor and develop team capability, promoting a learning culture and innovation Lead the development, optimisation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and related tooling Enhance platform monitoring, proactively resolve issues, and lead incident management effort What You'll Bring8+ years scripting with Python, Shell, Java Script, Terraform, Ansible, and REST API integrations5+ years Dev Ops and CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CDStrong AWS experience: EC2, S3, VPC, networking, EKS (Kubernetes), and Open Shift Skilled in cloud automation, scaling, monitoring, and networking concepts Proficient in Git version control and security/monitoring tools like Snyk and Dynatrace Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, deployment automation, and CI/CD testing What We Can Offer You Variety of flexible work arrangements and leave options Industry leading 20 weeks paid parental leave and 4 weeks secondary carers leave Generous discounts on insurance products Exclusive offers on more than 400 retailers including Myer, David Jones, Coles and Woolworths Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs About Suncorp Group We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
